The Rock & The Rabbai

THE ROCK & THE RABBI is the musical based on the life of Peter the fisherman and Jesus of Nazareth. A contemporary treatment of the Biblical story, it is a combination of storytelling and acoustic music. Intimate and emotional, funny and thrilling, the show tells the classic tale of friendship and betrayal, forgiveness and reconciliation.

Beginning in 1998 it enjoyed a 20-year run, being seen by audiences all over the country-- from the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium to New York City’s Lambs Theatre.

The creative was based on the story narrative, a miraculous catch of fish, told both at the beginning and at the end of Peter’s encountered with the Rabbi.
