The Child

THE CHILD MUSICAL is a dramatic retelling of the birth of Jesus from Joseph’s perspective. Storytelling is at the heart of this theatrical production. All of the power of the historical account is presented through the power of the spoken word and the music that it inspires. The music (which features acoustic guitars, Irish and African drums, accordion and bagpipes) is some of the most powerful and memorable in theatre today.

The cover art was composed from a photo of the authors hand and that of his young son, on a bed of simple hay, as it was a retelling of Joseph and a miraculous baby.
